This isnt just about shields
Hit count can be more useful than just shield breaks, in some game modes it will allow you to hit more enemies (due to enemies spawning in or entering range)

any unit outside a circles range; take sjw for example
he hits the units outside his range but still in the circle
Basically, if imagine tournament, if you hit 7 times at the start, there is a chance that you will hit a enemy that has just spawned in but if you hit only once then you will miss a lot of enemies that are spawning

spa shows the time between attacks, so take Cha in for example, 3 ticks + continuous attacking
Though nobody plays this game on Console and Idek if it supports Console so like 💀

i mean correct me if im wrong because i dont know coding, but it sounds quite simple. Even if this was implemented manually. With the devs knowledge of how many hits each attack does it would be relatively quick.
Would it not be simply adding a little icon to a unit and typing "1 --> 3" (or however many attacks its at, and how many the next attack type would upgrade to)
Sure theres a lot of units and attacks, but each unit wouldnt even take a minute long.
Spending like an hour for a nice lil qol addition doesnt seem too bad to me. Especially when youre the king of QOL like AV is.
Besides the F2P experience, QOL is the big thing AV has got on AA
