The fog is causing the lag, and I've confirmed it. When there’s no fog, there’s no lag, but whenever there is fog, it always lags. This happens on almost every map. and yes, I dont have any knowledge about the engine. but I'm pretty sure it's obvious that the fog is the cause of the lag

that has nothing to do with the issue, if the fog was the issue and you guys really did drop “80%” like you guys are claiming too it would affect everyone not just low end pcs, even so i made a virtual machine and limited it to 2 cores and 8 gigs of ram so my specs are the same and no weird fps drops, my theory is its either developer side or user error with some sort of weird conflict with not up to date drivers and roblox or something else and it doesn’t affect a certain platform either, as my phone fps is still the same since beginning of game release and now, also even if it was the fog which it isnt, anime vanguards seem to use particle emitters and the atmosphere part in roblox studio and in my test i disabled the atmosphere and for the particle emitters it limits the amount of particles on screen and the quality so again if fog was the issue it would go away on 1 graphics, also you can take the devs not “fixing” “fog lag” as it would take 2 clicks to disable the atmosphere part as that isn’t the issue and if it was the issue they would have already disabled it, now if you’re not
going to take my answer as i already explained this 5+ times to people you’re simply coping and dont understand what you’re talking about
