Private servers (or vip servers)

Idk if this is a bug or a "mechanic" but: Once you hit "back to lobby" or similar, it sends you to an external private server, i.e. not your private server or a friend's private server.

Also, Your friends can't join this server because it says "You don't have permission to join this experience"

this is a limitation by Roblox unfortunately. Believe it or not, there's literally no API to let users teleport between places in a private server -- I tried, and couldn't even teleport myself back into my own private server!

We "bypass" this limitation by instead generating a reserved server for each private server, and the moment you join your private server lobby, you actually get teleported into the reserved server instead

since with reserved servers we can actually teleport players to-and-fro the lobby normally, we use them instead to let you teleport without issue

But why does it make it so that someone who joined my PS before would end up in a different PS than me even tho we joined the same PS?

He always ends up having to rejoin to enter the same PS server as myself

Hmm, when I press return to lobby and he joins from the roblox page we end up in different servers even tho we both should've gone to my PS
