I've used the terms hard and soft rather liberally without quite defining what I mean
All post-Sep-2022 data should be Tuning Data, which in theory shouldn't be including things like video game releases unless that was Meta's explicit target (for reference, the card says the intended use of Llama 2 is simply natural language generation)
The "soft" cutoff really is more a hard cutoff for 90% of subjects
I originally misread the card to imply they started using post-cutoff data, which is where I first used the terms hard and soft. This does not quite seem to be the case in reality
