Like those kind of explanations
Ahem, are you sure your IP haven't changed since last time? Did you compare what you connect to and what IP it has in IP Config / Myip.com?
yeah, the server pc is beside me, can my router jsut decide to change my wan?
.> i think it did
If it restarted and you have dynamic ip (or better say you don't have static aka white IP) - yes.
i change it in the fika config?
Depends how you connect to it, if it's hosted by 0.0.0.0 and you connect to your machine via loopback - then all you need to do is to change WAN IP you set in SPT Launcher's Settings URL field.
Albeit i suggest to connect via LAN IP instead, if it is inside same network, saves you a headache like this, but not for your friends :D
sp intitally i set the server config as ip 0.0.0.0 and backend ip as my wan
if it was jsut me yeah lol
Ah well i guess you followed outdated guide then, we don't recommend setting WAN there anymore, IIRC
Having issues getting started?
You can find our full documentation HERE!
If you run into any issues, go to our support channel and follow the guidelines.
so jsut set both to 0.0.0.0?
the pic is there
thats how im reading it, but im not the best at this
I mean, sure :D
Yes
in ur opion whats better seting backend as wan or as 0.0?
i didnt use a vpn cause i have terrbiole ping already due to having to use 5g internet
just follow the guide, won't get it wrong this way
and 5G shouldn't be that horrible, AFAIK, given it's stable.
