My friend couldn't see the crash site while I could. What would cause that?
probably something fucking with the packets not allowing them to sync properly or something. may be due to another mod, may be due to hardware. you are using the fika version from this thread and not the one from the hub, right?

having no issues with this syncing when playing with a player hosting, however when its hosted via dedicated it doesn't seem to sync for everyone, not sure why

im not saying is that for everyone, on our server, even REALISM hazard are arent synced apparently, so iyt could be a problem from our installation/side

Has anyone had luck getting this working on 3.10? Some mods we can just update the json from VERSION: ~3.9 to VERSION: ~3.10
No, this mod is a CLIENT mod which means that it is NOT version agnostic between 3.9.x and 3.10.x, it would have to be rebuilt and possibly adjusted for the updated tarkov client.
some SERVER mods may appear to function between major updates of SPT but never use a mod that is not made specifically for the version of SPT that you are attempting to play, it is seriously not worth the potential headaches that you cause yourself and others if you report a bug that is due to your own foolishness.

I recommend enabling the Debug Logging in the F12 menu to make testing easier - it will log to your ingame console as well as to your BepInEx logs.

Found crash in raid, looted, extracted, and confirmed kept loot.
Oddly, looted ammo does not count as "found in raid" but seemingly everything else does.
If you're not seeing the F12 menu, make sure you have the FIKA extension installed
If I installed the previous patch (from 3:06a PST), and it seeminly works fine, should I update to this patch?
no its only a minor change to the startup logic (which works fine for me anyway, idk why reins is getting an error)
have you tested with Headless client? If you could, I'd be grateful as well
I haven't experimented with Headless at all yet. Candidly, I'm not totally clear on what it does
isn't it for if you're running the server on an independent machine?
you can host on the same machine as well, it alleviates the AI's processing to a different application which means better performance for you when you play (if your pc can handle running both headless and a client)

no unfortunately, there's a whole setup process for it and you need to have another SPT install which will have the Headless plugin

essentially the headless client is just your SPT install that will host the server and the ingame raid for other clients
Weird that I have both DeHazardifier and RAM cleaner installed but I don't see ither on this list
the only difference is the headless client isn't an actual player in the raid so if its a mod that only provides UI like Dynamic Maps, it's pointless being on the headless client which doesn't render graphics (by default)

having sync issues on headless myself, can't take items or exam them in the loot crate, which log is it that you need? LogOutput.log from client? or headless?

@grand summit is there a parent ID specifically for Ammo found in the Heli Crash? I can use SVM to define it as "found in raid".
I think everything else in the heli box is FIR except ammo
With SPT 4.0 ammo is never FIR due to BSG’s changes

yeah, i also received a report on the forge about it. Also been fixed, just trying to figure out why the server isnt sending the data to the client. Once that's done I can release a new build to test

I registered my packets like this. I can see the headless client receives the RequestHeliCrashPacket in the console but the server doesn't seem to send the information back to the client.
Does the client print the timeout

Have you tried debug logging inside the request handling to make sure the server actually leaves that scope?
That's where I'd personally start
I can only assume it never sends the response, or maybe there's a hidden exception

i think there's a race condition when running the debug build which causes the Fika asset bundle to not be loaded in time
For me it just threw exceptions unrelated
And I gave up. I prefer debug logging and Unity Inspector. I'm weird like that

Unity Inspector would be ideal, now if someone could infiltrate BSG and send the entire Unity project our way...

So I've done a lot more logging and the ContinueWith() is executing and being logged but the response callback on the client just isn't receiving it.
How can I see if there are hidden exceptions?

and I set to 100% spawn chance on headless
and yes both client+headless with full unitytoolkit+crashsite+fika

I heard that there in an issue with black division if you also have wtt armory and I also had armory
I have black division with WTT-Armory and like 50 other mods (including Fika and Helo Crash). They don't spawn every time (with hunt setting in F12 config for BD), and I actually haven't met them face-to-face after 10-15 raids, but in end-raid menu you can see they were there and active. Just got lucky when they did spawn the two times.

Quick question about SamSWAT’s Helicopter Crash Sites (Arys Reloaded 2.5.1) in SPT Fika.
I don’t have the default Y-menu, so I’m using SamSWAT’s Fire Support – Arys Reloaded to call helicopters / airstrikes.
Issue:
When one of us calls a helicopter or a bombing run, only the player who called it can see it.
The other player doesn’t see anything at all.
If my friend calls it — only he sees it, and vice versa.
Is this expected behavior in Fika, or is there a way to sync it for all players?

Fire Support isn’t compatible with fika
Yes I know it but without this mod when I press Y I do not see any option to call the helicopter😢
No, you were just missing the dependency mod UnityToolkit
It’s required for both Fire Support and HeliCrash
It's installed for clients + headless clients.
HeliCrash does not have anything that Fire Support needs
The helicopter extraction is a separate thing from HeliCrash
Eventually I will look into making Fire Support compatible with Fika

Do not extract as host with the helicopter if using Fika.
Have tried that to test.
Will crash server and anyone left is kinda f'd as it auto exfils you, unlike Fika which has you F8.
I was using the revive mod and I went down and didn't have a defib. Realized I could call a Blackhawk to let me get out before I bled out.
When the timer hit 0 I was pulled out of raid. Didn't just sit there spectating before hitting F8 that occurs if I die normally in Fika.
Not that I am complaining. It very specifically says on the page as of now that it is incompatible with Fika, I was just curious for testing (if helpful at all) what did and didn't work host/client-side.

Lemme sum it up for the rest: You couldn't get both FireSupport AND HeliCrash to work in Fika, FireSupport is obv because it is not compat, but for some reason HeliCrash also doesn't work despite you've installed everything correctly and with the correct dependencies (alledgedly).

Exactly Fire Suport should not work it's expectable. But HeliCrash does not work. I could say even more Without Fire Support mod Heli Crash does not work properly I do not see menu using Y with vortex in my hands but when I install Fire Support mode I couod see and fire support and call heli🤔

You have a very flawed understanding of how those mods work.
The Y menu and the Rangefinder are part of Fire Support. You don’t see them because FireSupport is not Fika Compat.
Heli Crash on the other hand just spawns a downed heli on the map. It does not have anything for you to control or menu to look for.
If the Heli you were referring to is the DOWNED HELI which does not work according to you then something is indeed wrong.
Fire Support and Heli Crash DO NOT interact with each other.

I honestly don’t know why I thought this mod also called a helicopter to extract us from the raid — that was completely on me.

ok yeah this makes sense. Didn't think that 20 seconds timeout was going to be reached unless on a broken setup 
My setup is being held together with duct tape much like BSG server

Hey Arys, what are the expected logs when things work normally ?
I have the latest version of yours, but haven't encounter the crash site at all, no errors in log, plugins loaded fine on both clients and headless
but aside from logs saying the the plugins loaded, there's nothing else
enable debug logging and it should tell you where the helicrash site spawned in both bepinex log and ingame console
