I have port 25565 opened and a rule set for it in the firewall. When I try to host a raid on my friends server it says something about opening raid on port 0 instead of 25565 and no one can join

The port is in use then, make sure you don't have the 25565 rule twice

when i ping the port on can you see me . org it times out

but when im running my server on 6969 it can see port 6969

now its saying hosting raid on 25565 but i still cant ping it and they still cant join

Are you port forwarding 25565?

Remove the 25565 rule and in the F12 Fika menu turn on UPnP and then test again

it starts server on port:25565 and then when someone tries to join it gives them an error that says make sure all ports are open and settings are properly configured

UPnP you will open it but when a person joins it might say they joined on port like 52146

okay so there is no way I can run the server on a different computer with radmin. so it has to be hosted from my computer at the same time?

You can put the server comptuer on radmin as well, but the server being on another machine is really only if you want to be able to get to it 24/7

Then ya, toss it on Radmin, and put the server IP to radmin IP

and people would just connect to the radmin IP the sever is on
