make sure you follow the vpn instructions very closely and step by step, i believe youre missing the part where you configure the connection to the vpn in the launcher

Simple answer, make sure everyone has the same mods. So zip up your BepInEx/plugins and user/mods folders and send them to all of your friends to install. Some mods also add a DLL into BepInEx/patchers too so check that one.

I don't personally use Lots of Loot so you would just have to test it.
