I host the server on a seperate laptop and had no problems last night and now it is doing this. My friend was able to connect and play the game regularly but i'm getting stuck here.

That could very well be, but there is still something wrong with your client installation and it is not related to Fika.

go into BepInEx/plugins remove everything except Fika.Core.dll and the spt folder.
make sure you close your launcher before doing this

Create a new empty folder on a disk where you have enough space https://ligma.waffle-lord.net/SPTInstaller.exe place that in there and run it.

Then you can download Fika again and try launching. Do not add mods before you are able to verify that you can launch the game.
