FIKA Version: 0.9.8890.36671
Portforwarding.
My friends and I ( @calm wyvern and @acoustic ridge ) have run into an issue where we can join Bravi's server, but anytime any one of us tries to run our own server, noone else can connect.
Gives the error listed in title in the launcher every time. We used to be able to connect to each other's servers with no issue until a day or two before the update.
I've asked around a good bit, searched FAQ, read through a lot of these tickets, and have seen no solution. We have tried changing whos IP we put in the http.dll, changing force IP and bind IP in the GUI in game, made sure everyone has ports forwarded correctly, redownloaded files (before and after new update), followed instructions for update correctly, including the files that needed to be deleted. Any help would be appreciated.
Player.log will be posted shortly, can post list of mods if that would be useful.

If it would be helpful, I can also ask the two friends mentioned above to provide their player logs when they are availble to.

#

We have also both used the firewall tool in FAQ to make sure that all the firewall rules are correct, as I saw that in a similar post just a moment ago. In addition, we have tried removing all mods from both of our profiles. No dice.

The AKI.Server is ran by one person, this is the backend for everything and where your profiles are saved, if you want someone else to host the backend you need to send profiles across and duplicate on other machines.

#

Simply have one person keep the Aki.Server running which they all connect to, the raids are P2P so if you want another person to host they will need to port forward on their end also

#

The reason people are unable to connect is because you have not changed the webhook URL in the Aki.Launcher settings

Im aware that the server can only be ran by one person, problem being we are all on different schedules and the one person we can connect to is the least available. We all have port forwarding set up. And I am also aware that in order to change to a different server, you have to change the webhook URL in the launcher settings. We have all done that in order to connect to my server in the past and now it isnt working anymore. It is only working when Bravi hosts his server.

Ptérodactyl bug port 6969 and 25565 open ?

#

Could you ask one of your friends to open poweshell and try

Test-NetConnection "YourIP" -port 6969

obsidian pebble
#

open TCP port 6969 and UDP port 25565

#

TCP and UDP are different btw

#

Also do not try to test 25565 as it is UDP as said above. Which is hadshakeless meaning you would not get a response neceserially

To test UDP use ^

hmm, the error basically says the client unable to contact the server. Is Bravi's server run on his home or on a cloud?

#

if it's from the home, you might need extra config on the router for port forwarding. But since you said you have correctly followed the procedures it's either his isp (not sure if this even possible) or he misconfigured the router

#

to test if his port open, you can use telnet

telnet IP_Address 6969

try to ping his IP first if it's reachable, test the port next.

Ill check it out after work and post results here

@obsidian pebble Telnet is not enabled by default on Windows and would need to be added in windows features, Test-NetConnection is a defualt cmdlet that can be used by Powershell

obsidian pebble
#

yes, it would need to checked on windows features (really helpful command btw)

Xfinity. Ports are forwarded. Alright, Ill check it out later and post results. Thank you for your suggestions
