Im running into an issue trying to play with my partner. We are both in the same room and on the same network.
I have the host setup on my PC (Which is running linux) and i have My IP set to her URL options in AKI launcher.
We can join the lobby together, but when i got to start the game itself; we are stuck at waiting for 1 player.

On her PC, it says that she joined successfully in the game and i get it stating in the server log that she connected.

so we can connect and joing, but FIKA doesnt report that both players are ready when they are

Okay, you are running AKI.Server on a Linux box, correct?
Both of you will then point your launchers to the IP-address of that Linux box.
In-game you will make sure Force IP is set to the local IP-address of your machine. You will then host the game and she should be able to join you.

#

The reason you might be encountering issues is because Force IP grabs the IP from http://ipv4.icanhazip.com if it's empty which will return your WAN IP-address. That will likely not work when you are on LAN together 🙂

#

You should be able to change Force IP in the F12 menu.

yeah, im using the IP address reported from ipv4.icanhazip
Do i need to setup the FIKA-Core on my end (Host) with that same IP or does that just need to be done for people wanting to join.
Because thats also what i did for my Host system

Your Linux machine is running AKI.Server it is not running Tarkov.

#

It will only host the backend like your stash, quests etc etc.

Set Force IP to the local IP-address of the machine you are running Tarkov on

Only the host has to make sure that their F12 settings are correct.

As in the person clicking the start button first 🙂
