I have changed the IP in the "http" as before and I have also changed it in the "server.json" in the Database folder as I was hunting for somewhere else that I may have had to change this. I have deleted the old MPT files too. Not sure what else to do.

I think I have resolved the issue, but haven't got the chance to test this with other players. So with the new 3.8.1 SPT AKI the HTTP file has a new addition of a backend IP and Port. I have set this to match the regular IP and Port...but in the launcher it still shows: http://127.0.0.1:6969 as the server, I can then connect to this using the launcher and I can launch the game now, but no idea if others will be able to join me now.

Port forward

I double checked my IP too and it's still the same

#

This is what I get, even after I've changed the ip address to my own

Change the IP in http.json to 0.0.0.0 for both IP and Backend.

#

I also have this server muted so ping me with your reply so I see the message xD

Does that let you connect?

I could connect fine to myself before with the above one, but I assume that it won't let others join as it used to show my IP ther ebefore the update

#

Also I put my IP back in and this happens:

And you made sure you don't accidentally have 2 servers running?

yeah, I just restarted my computer and get the same issue

Hmm

#

Had someone else earlier today running into the 6969 already in use and I don't remember what we did to fix it...

#

Might have to wait for someone more knowledgeable with port forwarding to help you out. I can't access my router settings where I live so I've been using Radmin.

Did your PC where you host the server change IPs? if the port is open on your old IP, you'll get this message. Verify that first.

I'm searching through other people's messages mentioning same issue, someone mentioned having to set IP to 0.0.0.0 on http file, but will this not prevent others joining me?

No that is what the instructions say to do if you are port forwarded.

So I solved this issue doing this:
