I am trying to join as a client to my friend as the host. Using port forwarding, I am able to get all the way to attempting to join their raid and it hangs on "waiting for 1 players"
He updated the f12 forced IP to match the IP I connected to his server with, but it shows "started on port 0" underneath that pop-up. Any ideas?

6969 on TCP for the server, 25565 for UDP to host raids
And yes, as long as his router supports it you are correct
No need to port forward 25565 as long as UPNP works

Force and Bind your Radmin in F12 for the raid host

Im actually getting the same issue, direct hosting on my machine, I can see my friend connected, and it even says connected successfully. 100% Port Forwarded and allowed in Firewall

Having the same issue as yesterday, made the exceptions in the firewall and made sure to set up everything correctly. Me and a friend are running the same mods but still running into "waiting on 1 player" no matter what

Im having a similar issue, I see in the bottom right that I have connected to my friends server but then stuck in waiting for 1 player. This also occurs if I am the host and a friend tries to join me
Ive disabled my firewall and it still doesnt like it

We're kinda running into the same issue, but we're good for one raid, then the second raid the client is forever waiting on 1 player after I've already loaded in, we just gotta reset the server everytime and it seems to work

I have played many games with a friend as the host. The "server" being hosted remotely off a box. At the end of one of the raids while extracting my buddy's game crashed. After that moment we have this exact issue.
We have tried restarting all involved computers to no avail

Hamachii has been issues for this at times.
With firewall down it means you need to take a look at the rules. If you get then setup right you should be able to turn it back on

it might be a sequencing issue (I have no idea if it matters) where he needs to join first out of the 2 buddies joining?

All good dude, my buddies & I have been waiting for something like this for quite a while & are pretty stoked that it worked at all. We've been with Tarkov for a long time & it's only up from here
