I have used nextcloud-client on other distros without issue with KDE so im not sure what the issue is. I am running secureblue nvidia pre turing, and when I open nextcloud desktop it just closes immediately. When I run nextcloud-client via the cli I get this:

nextcloud
QWaylandGLContext: Failed to create the decorations EGLContext. Decorations will not be drawn.
[3669:3669:0217/122635.652229:FATAL:credentials.cc(136)] Check failed: . : Permission denied (13)
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) nextcloud

I installed nextcloud via rpm-ostree as it wasn't available via bazaar

Seems like nextcloud uses some form of chromium-based webview, you will likely need to enable unconfined userns

I tried that, now im getting a new error:

nextcloud

QWaylandGLContext: Failed to create the decorations EGLContext. Decorations will not be drawn.
fatal allocator error: sized deallocation mismatch (small)
Aborted (core dumped) nextcloud

i prefer to use nextcloud-client over smb or webdav as the client just syncs to a folder in my home directory

#

so if the server crashes, i have a copy on my desktop and laptop

#

otherwise ill just setup davfs and rsync with a cron

#

but i would really hope to get this client working

So I just need to make a custom autostart entry in KDE with that command right?

Idk of another good way to do that
