I ran into the same bug with virt-manager when I tried to create a VM in the Qemu user session (but not in the system session)

#

not sure what's causing it either

I don't know

#

Can't think of any reason why it would be though

I've been having this issue on workstation as well

#

not sb related, something with f42

VMs seem to be broken for me as well. I can create them and the libvirt daemon does run, virt-manager does run as well and connects successfully to libvirt, but starting VMs does not progress past grub, they just hang immediately after the bootloader and nothing happens anymore.

I can run VMs just fine in virt-manager, it's just creating new VMs in the qemu user session that's broken for me

its in the system session for me

#

I dont use the user session

yeah I use the system session for everything right now but I was trying out making a VM in the user session and that's when I ran into this error

I'm just forever stuck on this when trying to start my Debian development VM on system session buildfailed sadge

I can also confirm that Gnome Boxes Flatpak works

Yes, but the issue that other people have is that VMs do not even get to this point
