Tried first installing the flatpak and then the main flatpak plug-ins separately, tried doing the same with rpm-ostree, tried running with standard malloc, tried removing hardening kargs.. all to no avail, EasyEffects cannot find any other plugin, which is necessary for many effects.. plugins I tried to install are calf and the lsp-plugins.

which repo did you install flatpak easyeffects from? i always grab it from the standard flathub repo that then pulls in non-verified dependencies such as the plugins

Both. Same story.. I just used flatpak install com.github.wwmm.easyeffects. The two options available were flathub system and flathub-verified user, like usually

Are these gnome plugins? If they are you need to run the ujust toggle-gnome-extensions

They are no specific gnome plugins as far as I know. But I can try that as well..

no, these aren't gnome extensions
