Bodyguard
Town Protective

Abilities :
Contract (☀️, ♾️) :
During the day, choose another player to get a contract from them.
You may not get a contract on day 1.

Patrol (🌙, 3️⃣) :
During the night, choose a player with a contract to start a patrol on.
You will patrol all players with a contract.
You are only seen visiting the initial target.
You will prevent the first direct, non unstoppable attack against a patrolled player.
Players with a contract know your schedule and bypass your protection.

Slightly nerfed and added an idea inspired by Fresh (no longer gets to choose an extra player without a contract, and can be punished for contracting without thinking)

Is this still too strong ?

A criticism that was on nunny’s post is that this shouldn’t be able to confirm itself via protections considering it’s much more likely to get a protection

#

Might be worth considering here

Hm

#

I mean I could just keep posting this with with more and more balance changes but like

#

At some point it becomes a matter of "is the concept interesting and balanced enough in the first place"

I like it but this might be very strong in lists with lots of conf roles

#

I like the concept tho so I will upvote

#

Might have a tweak idea for this for tomorrow

This role feels a bit too swingy. It's very slow to do its job properly but if left alone, becomes super strong

#

Also being able to pseudo-permanently protect 2 players by n3 is pretty ridiculous

#

It's just feels very inconsistent as a tp role while also having a ridiculously high reward ceiling

Players with a contract know your schedule and bypass your protection. -> Prob reword this to
¨Players you contracted ignore the effects of Patrol¨
Because as written rn I read it as ¨Contracted players know when you use a charge of Patrol and ignore your protection¨

#

Also, if you want contracted players to bypass your patrol, you should give the BG some way to remove a contract from someone
