Alt title: jackal and executioner buffs
Me when the "inquis" says they have pb, wildling, ww heretics with a tracker claim
Real
plot twist Inquis is Jester
Jackal is fine imo, being forced to communicate in order to get roles is part of why it’s interesting
Executioner one is fine ig, lets you decide if you want to act fast before they get or not, but exe doesn’t need a buff
Exe does not need a buff...
I might be able to get on board with the rec change if it was just alignment But I think jackal having to figure out which one is which is interesting
I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of jackal getting
“One of your recruits is Town, the other is Neutral Killing” or something similar
Same for recruits
I just dislike the idea of them knowing which is which
Exe does not need it..... Also how does it allow for more creative plays?
Creative is the wrong word... more like its more plausible to claim TIs as exe if you actually know if your target is a visiting role
Bc rn it feels like gambling if u call somebody Trespassing, yet if you don't push them early they get confirmed and then u cant win
I think recs should still know tho
Rec arso is broken, if other rec visits them they can never ignite
Then let them know alignment aka nk
Also, I don't think rec arso should be able to ignite their rec
same
You call them murder and you win for free
alignment only is fine
not from my experience but im not a great exe player and i only rlly get it in vanilla
Part of the reason I like it is you can know if your recruit is fake claiming but you don't know what
I very rarely see an exe lose at least an exe that plays lame and calls them murder
I mean I’ve played a lot of games where like I call my target trespassing or enemies and end up confirming them
And when I do sheriff or Coro or such I end up pushing someone confirmed or a dep comes out etc
Exe knowing their targets role so they know if they can take it slow or if they have to act fast against a vigilante or smth that’ll confirm itself
Recs knowing each others roles and jackal knowing recs roles isn’t the same as exe though
Call them murder...
Or sus
This doesn't help with pushing vigi all it does is make them wait for them to die
And play jest
Which is awful aswell
I mean having a Vigi target means you have to act fast otherwise they confirm yourself and you’re basically waiting for them to die or for evil Maj
Like with a seer target you can say you saw them nv when you risk accidentally soft confirming the oracle imstead
It allows for more versatility is what I’m getting at
The humble deputy:
The same thing applies with trespassing except now you get to play an objective that just sucks
The problem is people will generally let them get their shot off and it becomes pretty obvious if you're being pushed day two that their exe so they'll just shoot someone They're sus of
It's very easy to just post like 3 seconds late to see if they are a TI claim....
The problem is it's technically diversity, but the game plan is still the exact same
you can counter deputy pretty easily, by not calling sus or anything d2/3, usually by then dep would shoot
@gleaming gust has leveled up! (10 ➜ 11)
Thank you.
By then a lot of roles would’ve confirmed themselves
Not a ton but I definitely agree that it's enough to make it optimal to push Day 2
Plus it could very easily get sidetracked with other info which would then allow them to get confirmed
tbh I don’t see exes call sus d2 very often anymore because you’re basically removing yourself from the game one way or another
which isn’t very fun
It's not fun, which is why it shouldn't be anywhere close to optimal.
