The Ritualist is a coven killing role whose terrifying presence causes town to hide their true roles, giving Coven more cover in terms of claiming.

Blood Ritual (2️⃣)

• Choose a player and guess their role. If correct, they are dealt an astral unstoppable attack.
• You cannot guess Town Investigative roles, and you cannot guess players who have been Illuminated by a revealing role.

The Ritualist can kill anybody who openly claims their role, with very little that can stop it. This will quickly melt through town if they aren't careful, so townies are forced to obscure the truth or lie, unless they are Investigative roles.

They just want to be hard confirmed with no consequences. Either that or they don't like that it doesn't always get value 24/7 / click a button and do stuff every night, winning them the game with little effort put in

The "night actions" you can do are planning your next move or discussing with teammates about another player's role
