Reminisce (🌙, 1️⃣):

  • Starting Night 1, you can choose one Common Town role. You will have this role's ability until you Reveal.
    • You do not have to choose a role Night 1.
  • You cannot Reminisce as Amnesiac or as banned Town roles.

Reveal (☀️, 1️⃣)

  • During the day, publicly Reveal as Mayor, gaining an extra vote.
  • You will no longer be able to use the role you've Reminisced.
  • Each day after you've Revealed, you will gain an extra vote.

Attributes:

  • Abilities that guess the player's role can guess you as both Mayor and the Common Town role you chose to Reminisce as.

POTENTIAL NERF:

  • Ban TKs from being chosen. This is to prevent everyone choosing exclusively Vigilante and Deputy and also prevents Town Governments from gaining kill power.

Its just the fact that anyone can be mayor and get away with it. Also way more easier for Mayor to hide since they would get real info if they copied tracker for example.

But im not experienced enough in the game to know wether Mayor needs this change specifically

TP chains is an inherent problem with TPs, not a problem with this role.

Also it loses its TP ability when it Reveals.

How is this a Remininisce issue?

Chaining's a problem that exists without this role existing, and its not like it can fully confirm itself without losing the ability to chain.

I genuinely cannot see this role being as strong as you put it out to be. It

a) relies on Mayor forfeiting the utility of other roles to pursue being a TP
b) relies on another TP being hard confirmed
c) relies on Coven having no way of stopping a chain (whether via CKs, Witch, CL, or Poisoner)

Okay, there's supposed to be nothing wrong with it.... Except I have some personal issue with it.

Reminisce, is pretty overpowered. I can see it being an issue since Mayor or any TGov/E has already claimed a special role ability.

Reveal is already a special role ability assigned to Mayor , Reminisce can't claim any spot for Mayor - thus, should be changed.

Some people take Reminisce lightly, but Reminisce accounts all Common Town, what I mean is - Common Town is a bucket filled with every role except for roles associated with TG/TE.

This makes it very OP, which I think should be noticed.

  • overlaps with current amne and retri
  • everyone will choose vigilante or deputy.
  • UI issues that makes this a pain in the ass to implement, for example where is the alert button supposed to be when revealing is your shield ability
