• You may visit a player and Permanently Bug them.
• You will learn the roles of all Non Town Aligned roles that visit Bugged players.
• You will receive the feedback of Bugged Town Investigatives on the night they die.

Sting (🌙 | ♾️):
-# [ Secondary | Target Role — Can use with Bug ]
• Select a role that has previously triggered a bug.
• You will Sting for all players with that role for the night.
• If a player you are Stinging for is Bugged and visits another Bugged, then you will learn the names both the Stung player and the visited player, but won’t learn who is who.

If the player with the role you are stinging for bugged, and visits another bugged player, then the game will give you the names of both players.

Could make it straight up out the person, but that would be a little too strong IMO.

I feel like sting would be too niche to actually trigger
Your requirements are:

  • The role already visited a player you bugged
  • You are currently selecting this role too
  • The role is a bugged player
  • The role also visits a bugged player

I don't think that's gonna happen enough for it to be a considerable buff

You’re forgetting that if you see the role trigger a bug while you’re stinging for them, you learn that none of your bugs are that role.

And I do believe that it will get some triggers later in the game

Most spy games I tend to see the same evil role at least twice.

I do recall playing with Percept invest, though, and while I didn't mind it having Percept, it felt like it was blanketing a weaker ability with a new but also weak ability

I personally like what Spy's going for, though, and I don't really know how one would buff Spy while retaining its primary ability

unless if it goes for a "visit two players a night but Bugs dissipate if an evil triggers them" kind of approach, which is lame lol

Spy bugs are now a day ability
New night ability - Listen, which works exactly like a bug but its not permanent and you cannot listen to the same person twice(still can bug them)
