Apocalypse roles can only spawn at maximum 2 RAs. Both apocalypse players will receive basic defense as well as detection immunity for sheriffs.
With the four horseman modifier enabled, the apoc cap will be raised to four, however upon receiving 3 or more RAs, all apocalypse players lose their defense and show as suspicious to sheriffs, last apoc defense will still be applied.
Why this change?
Currently in multiball lists such as WS or chaos modes like TAA, apoc as a faction has been struggling to even stand a chance against Town, Coven and even Neutral killings
Acolytes such as baker, plague bearer or even Soul collector contribute little to no impact to the game until they transform, which in multiball/chaos lists, is extremely rare due to the lack of defense. So most of the time the acolytes die off before they transform.
I’ve been through many apocalypse games in the past, some of which I even had a full house apoc, but we still got demolished by coven in the end once our berserker died (it was s4 so no last apoc defense)
By default, the four horseman modifier will not be enabled in multiball lists and chaos lists, however setups such as ATT will obviously be enabling them
(Pandora box will also disable this change obviously)
