There should be compensation in the form of getting your charge back in a failed jump

according to the BTOS2 wiki this is the only scenario where you'd retain a charge
Pretty sure SK has two charges to compensate for stealing the identity of a factioned evil (Coven, Apoc, Vampire, CS).
Yeah, the main problem with this is that if you jump into a factional evil then you pretty much just get outted

Truly I think jumping shouldn’t be treated as a regular ability. It’s ridiculously powerful, so you should be sure you aren’t jumping to evils ahead of time. And if you do, remove death notes.
