considering most evils will not be nightkilled especially if it is announced they won’t be dying
It just makes it a lot harder for evils to remove other evils

i like the heretic targeting system though
If the punishment was bigger
then it would be too harsh
for an NE
It’s the best punishment I can think of without making it outright unwinnable for town

It’s supposed to make it harder for inquisitors to come out in town majority
I guess so, but I think it makes it a bit overcomplicated
like, for the 11-15 scenario to happen, there must be 3 or less non-town players (not including the Inquisitor themselves)
and even then, they has to be 3 soloists for the Inquisitor to not have a chance of targetting them

These changes just seem to have a more complicated way to generate heretics, while still not touching the main issue of inqis being swingy. This is just AA balancing

It's still just the max amount, and it can still target both the jackal/NK/factional evil. Just having inquisitor target two townies makes it more consistent in most lists

Evils aren't going to be dying in the night in balanced role lists, peak AA balancing

The thing is, evils have no control over when they get invincible defense, so most of the time it's going to be useless. since townies aren't going to use their limited abilities when the inquis has won. This mostly just harms nks as they need to be able to kill evils to keep from them getting majority
