#Amnesiac Rework

Have Amne become the role of the first person on its team(generally based on win conditions, meaning TT turns into the first teammate who dies, ego turns into the first evil that dies, etc) who dies as opposed to the first townie- so you could end up seeing Situations such as TT Amne turned Death (Id also say that TT Amne should still end up keeping their TT status, which could make it oh so terrifying to play against in hunt) The only real possible issues with this are

  1. Amne being swapped to an NK or CS wouldn’t turn often, could be fixed by making all NK factions along with CS faction count as the same faction for the purposes of it
  2. What happens if Egoist Amne manages to become Death and nukes? Who wins? Is it just a draw but all the NPs and Ego leave first?
  3. Also rec amne would probably either be treated as town or turn into the first evil that dies due to the fact that the only person they would be able to turn into would be a useless jackal
  4. Vamp amne should be treated as town

Would make TT/Ego (or Rec depending on how you make it work) amne really fun to play, and could lead to some major shenanigans in modes with CS in the rolelist.
Any other ideas would be accepted

I feel like the TT turned evil role thing could be tweaked myself, it’s just that I can’t figure out how to balance that specific aspect well-either you have tt who can kill or you lose tt entirely

Exactly and that’s why I asked if anyone had ideas

It’s not a very complete thought asking for feedback to improve my idea until it’s in a good state is what I’m looking for

Maybe tt can’t get necronomicon to compensate a bit

Also while the idea of a killing role in hunt is terrifying it also comes with the downside of being able to be found, plus TT retri can really do the same thing

I feel like it's rather hard to rework amne due to being a natural Being in tos 1 a role that ment act as wild card kinda and makes hard to really balance version of it no matter how many ideas for a rework it's going to be difficult to make it balanced imo

So far reworks has some envolement in tos 1 and its harder to try to make a completely new rework to be balanced so feel it a role that can't really change for how it was designed

Feel like it's one and probably only role that won't get rework for a long time

My thought that I posted in another thread is that Amnesiac can remember any role from their alignment (any NK or Cursed Soul can remember any evil) and any Town Traitor Amnesiac will be treated as Town Amnesiac

Yes but the problem is the role reworks could Make rather unfair for those who play against it

Tos 1 amne were you could chose and wait who you wanted to be but also at risk of lose if you died by evil or hang by day and you can't really do much if you pros or conj day 2

So mabye make it a neutral Evil perhaps it have so then it would gain basic defense for 2 nights and the show inno for frist two nights don't think that would be possible thing rather difficult to code but only want that so they can't just die to random dep shot but I think it be show sus to sheriff so that other evils could try to l claim amne at most it only Give them one more night at least

Also if they were to remember a role with charges so let's say conj all ready used the stone so once amne is conj they won't be able to use stone because previous conj did

Well mabye about if they were to remember that role they won't get all charges once change after a new day starts. Say they still remembering there true self so they have to wait a night to get the charges or a charge. Won't replenish once used a charge

We've already had a debate earlier about tos1 amne being exclusive to TAA. The point of the mod is to be a testing grounds for balance + be an "upgrade" to vanilla. I doubt they are open to ToS1 amne since the point of the other NS reworks was to make better versions of already existing roles (namely Vampire + Cursed Soul but technically Pirate is a downgrade now LOL)

A other idea I have is that amne has 2 nights to pick after this if they didn't choose a town role by then work like normal and mabye make it were let's say for example marsh died n1 and a amne turn marsh and that marsh died to conj for doing day 3 trib but the next amne can't become marsh due to a other amne all ready remember that role to prevent have like 3 mayor's or jailors or monarchs etc mabye that could work

So they won't become coro day 2 and make it so they can't just wait near the game to become mayor or Marshall
