When using the shroud ability, you negate all TPs but one.
Shrouding Crusader: You go through it
Shrouding BG/Trapper: You make them kill themselves
Shrouding Oracle: You kill them
Shrouding Cleric: You hit their barrier
If someone is claiming to be TP on a TPLO call, shroud them and 3 times out of 5 you kill them, and 1 time out of 5 you kill the TPLO caller. Shroud can ignore TP at will. If the TP is fake (which you can figure out by shrouding them), claim a TI and out them. Or if they're Necronomicon holder, you can claim Coroner or Investigator. Yes, it doesn't have a Powerful attack. But it doesn't matter unless you're playing All Any. Shroud can also not be caught by LO/Tracker when shrouding. No other role except Illusionist can fool LO/Tracker.
tldr:
Shroud can figure out all evils, bypass a TP, and has a consistent kill.
The only place it's bad is All Any.
