Dreamweaver (Coven Deception)

Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:

  • Dreamweave a player's dreams at night, implanting false feedback and altering existing feedback.
  • Mindwarp a player's mindscape at night, distorting their perception of the next day phase.

Attributes:

  • With the Necronomicon, players you visit are dealt a Basic Attack.

Dreamweave (♾️)

  • Plant a false memory in your target's mind, causing them to receive false feedback.
  • Targets affected in this way have all other forms of feedback altered to conform to the false memory.
  • Upon your death, affected targets will relearn all erased feedback.

Mindwarp (2)

  • Mindwarp your target, distorting their reality for the next day.
  • Players do not know if they are Mindwarped.
  • You may not Mindwarp the same target consecutively.
  • Mindwarped players will only see messages you allow them to see.
  • While a player is Mindwarped, you may send messages as if you were another player that only they can see.
  • Mindwarp does not influence a player's ability to talk, vote, see, or use abilities. It does, however, prevent a player from receiving standard whispers.

Effect on Feedback: Nothing

  • A [Role] attacked you, but a [Barrier/Bodyguard/Crusader/Trap/Magic Mirror] saved you!
  • You were cured!
  • Someone gave you a drink, but you have high tolerance. (Shows if target is immune)
  • Someone gave you a drink, but you were too hungover. (Shows if target was Roleblocked/thought they were Roleblocked before)
  • You were smokebombed!
  • A Witch tried to control you, but your resolve was unwavering. (Shows if target was Controlled/Thought they were Controlled before)

Effect on Feedback: Hides Information Learned

  • Your visit was blocked by an Unknown Object.
  • Your target was covered in smoke!
  • Your ability failed because your target was in Jail.
  • Someone gave you a drink and you fell asleep. You were Roleblocked!
  • You were Poisoned! (Additional feedback on top of Roleblock feedback)
  • You feel a mystical power dominating you. You were Controlled by a Witch!

Mindwarp:

When a player is Mindwarped, a darkened UI will be enabled to indicate your control over their reality.

Mindwarp works like Shroud and Percept: toggling your special ability overrides Dreamweave.

Mindwarped players cannot see any messages being sent without you allowing them to. They may still, however, send messages that everyone can see.

Messages sent by non-Mindwarped players will have an eye-shaped button next to them. Clicking on the eye will reveal the message to the Mindwarped player.

Typing [player number]: [message] will send a secret message that appears as a standard message to the Mindwarped player that appears purple to you and other Coven members. Other players will not be able to see this message. The same can be done with whispers.

Mindwarp lasts a full day. Victims of Mindwarp still view cinematics, vote on trials, and see who is hanged each day.
