I am going to host a Coven Ranked tourney soon for people to enjoy comp play, but when the mode was getting 3 votes a week we just couldn't justify not attempting to give it some life
if you want to play Coven Ranked, Custom+ is there it will fill faster than it ever could with the less than 1/200 chance of it being picked in casual

Okay lets say we have Coven Ranked in the mod for 1 month, in this month it is played 26 times total, meaning next month we can expect it to be even less than this. Instead, we remove it from the mod for a month, and when it is added back it is played maybe 200 times first week, that is alot more Coven Ranked than the one we would've had otherwise
then it dies again, cycle repeats

When a 15th player failed to join the game, that would automatically default to the Serial Killer not spawning in. The Jackal would then have zero valid recruits, and would be a recruitless jackal.
Since we don't fully handle that event in the best way due to it being impossible to create in Custom+, Jackal was not able to kill since his recruits had never died (due to them never being alive at all), so you were a jackal who couldn't kill with 3 nps and 10 town
