There is too much of a difference in power when getting a mon or marshal/jailor in the tpow slot a role list
these changes aim to make going against town more fair
Proposal:
Tpow is split into 2 different sub alignments
- tpow still exists as a role bucket
Town Trial and Town Execution roles are mutually exclusive. (ie there CANNOT be a mayor or a pros in the same game, but there can be a Jailor and a mayor in the game)
- This rule may be bypassed if the role list calls for more than 1 TT or TE
(Town Trial)
"Prosecutor, Monarch and Mayor"
These roles help town by revealing themselves to gain majority back or delay evil majority via trials or voting power
I named it town trial so I can call the mayor TT when they hang the conf townie
**Revealed players no longer can receive defense higher than NONE by OTHER roles **
**(Town Execution) **
"Jailor, Marshall"
These roles serve to change the tides of the game and MUST be played around for an evil win
Secondary changes:
Monarch
- Monarch gets a one time use day ability which reveals themselves as the monarch and then their knights vote mimic the monarch's
The Monarch's ability ends at the end of the day.
(i.e. if mon votes 2, both knights will immediately vote 2) (this includes voting themselves)
The goal was to give monarch the ability to reveal and somewhat mitigate a bad knight and to keep the theme of revealing to influence trials
This also helps counter balance late game judge as well
Marshall
- Marshall no longer reveals themselves as the Marshall when calling a tribunal.
-Marshall no longer has an additional vote when a tribunal is called
Extra voting power should be exclusive to Town Trial roles.
