The randomness feels like it would be a liability to town?
How does it interact with vet?
Does vet attack count as something that can get them targeted
Does the protected person know they were protected?
I think it's a very interesting idea that needs some other roles to go with it
I like how unique it is, but it might feel awkward without some roles to synnergize and counter
Like, it's delayed vigi and trapper
But if you had a role that would interact with targeting
Like if admi would affect it
Or if there is a role that can force you to interact with targets
hmm
I think the concept of "hunter" is pretty covered with inqui tho
Not similar in gameplay
Similar in the sense it feels like you need to kill people seperate from "win the game for town"
I think if I got the role I would much rather just kill someone than make sure to kill evils

I think making it more punishing like giving it some disadvantage for being "town" ?

So lemme see:
If you sit at X's house, you target people who attack X right?
And if X dies to a vigi, you know the targeted person is probably vigi?
The targeted person knows tho?
So if you have, say a revealed mayor, you could whisper them "I targeted a vigi" and the vigi would whisper "I was targeted last night"
and you would have a tk with TI ability
That would only be the case for if someone dies to multiple killers

I would enjoy playing it as a neutral more than town I think
I prefer bold unrealistic ideas to tame but balanced ones when it comes to suggestions tbh
It's easier to go towards balance than vice versa

I feel randomly attacking a player (even if considering targetting) is a bit of a problem, town killing is typically a deliberate choice. Making it a random chance based on your targets brings in unfairness to the hunter itself (ex lets say you target a silent player n3, then they reveal as mayor d4, you cant rescind that now)

that makes 0 sense and thus isnt counterplay

I feel taking out the random attack, and swapping it to. You have to target a player before you can attack (with the notice to the evil), and making it a powerful attack instead

Problems with the role
- Self confirmable before actually killing (only between vig and maybe trickster)
- A random kill is not that good, specially when its only against killers

RNG = instant no
honestly just make it unique
1st make Prey eye limited and you have to target people.
RNG is still an issue
2nd town visitors are not notified if the hunter has stacks of targeted on them

How to fix:
- Easy Prey should not include a random attack but rather you choose the person and if they have stacks of targeted, you kill them
- Limit the charges or uses of Easy Prey
- Delete Target Clear
- Make Town members not be alerted if they have Targeted stacks
They can pick it themselves
Like how a vigilante picks a target

N1 results will tell you whether your target visited or not and who, and whether they activated a day ability (like current spy).
That way you dont know who you targetted without some actual head work
Ex "hm my target visited 5 and didnt use a day ability, only person claiming to visit 5 is the psychic claim, so my target must be that psychic'

If your gunna make the role jump through hoops to use its affects, reward them for that effort

You can have a role that is just 2 roles mashed together but is still good
Dont be afraid to draw from good aspects of already made roles
Like consiser my suggestion. Essentially i just took good aspects from tracker and spy, and it still in effect, makes it a whole new role

At day you select someone and see if they are that person at the start of the night
Its a problem (not like they will confirm themselves when they kill)
