AI is ruining lives. Sure, everyone knows about artists losing their jobs, but many corporations like Dropbox and Oracle have had insane layoffs and introduced AI in their place. This means that those people have to find another job in order to keep themselves alive. The only safe jobs to go for are blue-collar jobs because they require physical work, like plumbers, construction workers, electricians, etc. My dream used to be tech, but I’ve ultimately decided to avoid such a career path because of the AI takeover.
