Recently, alot of fake or slop community worlds have been somehow getting on featured, and as a person who enjoys playing community worlds, i hate this because each day there is only about 1 real community world on featured. So i made a fix
How it works:
How it will work is this, each community world you go in, there will be a panel in the lobby that looks like the picture below, you can either upvote, or downvote a community world, doing either will effect the community worlds total score, a community worlds total score will effect it’s chances of getting on featured and popular, it will effect popular by taking into account the rating and visits (for example, say onlyup has a total rating of 6k, and more visits than itemrun, but itemrun has 9k total rating, itemrun would be above onlyup on the popular board), it will effect featured by taking into account the rating and visits recently (for example, if a community world has gained 1k visits in the past 2 days, but has a total rating of 200, it wont get on featured).
Owner rating:
To prevent people from making alot of slop or fake worlds, your past community world rating will also come into account for worlds getting on featured. How it will work is, say someone has had 3 community worlds in the past, all with low total ratings, if they make a new world it will have to outweigh their past community worlds in total rating to get on featured.
How rating works:
Rating is a pretty simple system, you subtract the total upvotes by the total downvotes, to get the total rating, for example, if a community world had a upvote count of 100, and a downvote count of 25, their total rating would be 75 (100-25=75). Also if you have more downvotes than upvotes your score goes into negative.
This took a long time to make💔🥀
Also scratch the “Once you Rate this World, You cant change it!”
