(Mostly) Every biome would have 2 weather blocks and 1 hazard block, a new ‘type’ of powered block that would still be in the same category as the weather blocks. Already existing weather blocks may be moved around for biome thematics.
As all suggestions this is just an idea, and if implemented would be highly subject to change.
Suburbs: N/A The ‘beginner biome’ seems too simplistic to have weather blocks, and I can’t think of anything good for it.
Snow: The snow and blizzard blocks would stay, but the new Frostbite Zone would be added. It would generate an area around it marked by floating light-blue snowflakes. It would first slow people within it, then after long enough freeze them and deal damage over time.
Ocean: Rain and thunderstorm would be moved here, and the new Tsunami block would be added. It would create a giant wave that carries people with it and damages them upon entering the wave and upon the wave crashing into the ground. The wave starts in one of the cardinal directions (selected on the block) and moves towards it’s opposite, shrinking vertically over time before crashing into the ground at the map border. Pillows in it’s path are destroyed, and brittle blocks are broken.
Fantasy: Fog would stay, and the new Mist and Spore Zone blocks would be added. The Mist would be a much denser fog that now creeps into the map fully, surrounding the player like a lighter, pale blindness effect. The Spore Zone would create a radius around itself marked by pale orange dots. When in this radius players would be given the poison effect, sticking around for a small time afterwards.
