Yes, you read the title right. *Shields are * in fact useless now. Along with any other item that can block. Fire bombs, any item with a damage multiplier can just break the shield almost instantly, and with the shield nerf, you can’t even use it again and just makes them so bad in PVP which for its price and how it terribly works it just isn’t good. Please buff them. They are in a really bad state for shield users, like myself. And I know some folks are going to be complaining but its true. Any other item that has a blocking feature, barely anyone uses that anymore because of the nerf, and its just terrible! So please. BUFF THE SHIELD!

I do think the reason they added the shields tho is to make like a boxing glove for swords, the bombs to get around them like fire do feel pretty cheap since it should block it as a bomb, and have a boing effect, at most as a buff it should still be vulnerable to fire but have it knock back to require some skill with the thrower to get around it

The shield, fortunately, WAS the best, it had to be nerfed

You literally could not fight without using a shield it was miserable

Yeah but what I’m trying to say is a freeze gloves should be an item that’s 50% as good as the bats offense and 50% as good as the shields defense

It has short range so the offense part is fine

But it shouldn’t block better than shields
