even if you think labrats dont find enough of the bugs, adding a new role that also finds bugs will just cause that role to not find anything either

also, assuming this would be a more exclusive bug-finding role, that means that it would be harder to become one
so atp you may as well just become a labrat and actually actively find bugs yourself

also, if you want some data, 38 bugs were patched during the lab for the superpower update

seems like a pretty good amount

a large portion of reported bugs are small issues like a typo or model clipping thru things because thats what a majority of bugs are

there aren't an infinite amount of bugs, and there are only so many gamebreaking bugs that can be reported

the labrat system works well for making sure updates are pretty balanced and bugfree before the update comes out fully

not every bug gets caught, but they're obviously not common bugs if the entire set of labrats couldn't find it during the entire lab

another role wouldn't really fix the fact that not every bug gets caught

Lab rats test bugs BEFORE the update which is more helpful and if you find a bug in live version labrat or not you can just report it and it'll get fixed and there's nothing special of the 'yeeps who do bugs' it's just a colored name and badge for the stupidest reason
