Idea For The Maker Role

Since the maker badge is coming out with the kit, I have an idea. If the maker badge is about making IRL stuff for your Yeeps plush, why not give out the maker role to people who also make IRL Yeeps stuff? Because for a handful of people they can’t get the badge due to U.S exclusivity/broke and some of them are good at making IRL Yeeps stuff. The maker badge is about being creative after all

**how would you submit? **
You would submit your creations in a special channel or in #1214971036664074301 with the “craft” tag.

**What is the difference between buying the set, and making an item at home? **
The difference between the both is that the kit is if you want to make the almost premade items, with everything laid out to you. This helps with people who don’t have the materials at home and are willing to take on the Yeeps sewing challenge. Now for the item at home is that you have no tutorial to go off of and you have to have the materials you need around your house (needle, string, fabric, fluff or wood) so this would also be a mini challenge on this part, making them equal.

-# side note: sorta like the CC challenges, they have to meet a certain standard so people don’t post horribly made stuff and get the badge for it. It has to be somewhere near as good as challenge 3’s plush item, so it’s more fair to everybody

-# Side note 2: if this was implemented, there should be another little reward for the people who did buy the kit, to differentiate from the people who didn’t need the kit to make something awesome

The maker kit badge is a promo for the maker kit from what i understand

I dont think they would just do that

If they did the rewards would be seperate

if they did do this there would most likely be another little reward to differentiate people with the kit between people without the kit

you get the bag she from completing 3 of the challenges in the kit, so my idea is why not make it so people without the kit can get it

I don’t think promoting, you just have to verify to them that you did 3 challenges and you get the badge

its not staying exclusive to the u.s.

theyre just shipping out a limited stock in the u.s. only for noe yo see if it will actually sell well

if it does, it will come to other countries

ik, i just used it as a point to add another way of getting the maker role

because ik there are probably beautiful yeep stuff made by people in other areas in the world but they’ll have to wait for a little while if this isn’t implemented
