I know this one will be a little controversial, but in my opinion autofishers add nothing to the game
When I first found out about autofishing, I thought it was pretty cool. Like with autocooking, you can make a machine with wiring that makes long tasks quicker and with less player effort
However, over time it's become apparent to me that autofishers don't add to the game in the same way that autocookers did.
First of all, autofishers are really simple to make. They take literally 4 wiring blocks (a button and 2 transmitters and a door) for a basic one and only a few more blocks to make a loop. So unlike autocookers, there is no initial time investment that goes into creating the machine to make it balanced
Additionally, fishing is rng based and some of the fish (the dragons) are really, really rare. So rare that players will take basically any way they can to make fishing faster to give them better odds, making them more a necessity than a convenience
Finally, it takes away the incentive to engage with the update as intended. Many players have been using autofishers just to "beat the update" for them, which is clearly seen by today's featured tab and literally every wilds lobby (genuinely, I had to lobby-hop through 3 rooms in FACILITY WILDS just to find a room without an auto-fisher)
I don't think this would be a very well-received change, but imo it would encourage people to play the game properly instead of getting someone else with a machine to do it for them
