You kinda gotta have a director, it saves a lot of time being able to see parts as they are being recorded and potentially cut it short to make adjustments rather than reviewing the footage and reshooting a whole scene.

Yes but no amount of preparation on paper will help actors physically play the roles right with the right emotions, positioning, and body language

That’s why real films have directors and writers

Cause directors can identify problems and point them out fast

I tried doing a similar thing a while back and it was impossible for me to be the main character cause I had to review all the footage for my scenes (like 90% of em) before making tweaks so I had to give it up for somebody else.

Scripts are purely the words and broad descriptions of movement, you can’t make a whole movie with a script alone and expect minimal errors.

You could have pinpoint descriptions of every movement ever and actors would still mess up.

If you don’t want a director you do you, but it will significantly slow down film time
