Adventure just seems too easy with not much of a point in replaying. Dungeons are very easy as well, in which they should be difficult. (Queen dungeon should close server during/after the boss fight with button to start) Also, it feels a bit empty now that it’s a separate gamemode, though more maps should be added.
What to add or change overall?
Joining in the middle of dungeons.
You shouldn’t really be able to join in the middle of a boss fight. This honestly makes it too easy, though, having multiple people would help. There would be a server vote for when to start the dungeon.
Parties.
Say you want to always be in the same lobby with a friend, or even a random Yeep. The new party feature would allow everyone to join the same lobby as the party leader, though will be notified where they’re going to and can vote yes or no to traveling immediately. This would also work outside of adventure.
More maps / map reworks.
As said earlier, adventure should have more of a challenge. Dungeons overall feel a bit easy, as you can join in the middle or when it’s already completed, and that can be resolved easily. I think that horror shows a good challenge, though not much replayability, and could be completed somewhat quick if you knew what to do. Having difficult dungeons is a good idea, but that brings me to my next point with how little reward there is.
No replayability?
- That’s what makes games actually fun. Hide and seek has a lot of replayability if done correctly, say playground. Adventure should honestly have a permanent way to earn buttcoins, though is slower than weekly exchanges. Say you complete a dungeon, get 3 of the material, and get to the exchange. Along with the silver beans, each of the material would grant 25 buttcoins. I think dungeons should take about 20 - 30 minutes, for say 225 buttcoins an hour. Adding a permanent way to earn buttcoins would honestly work a lot, but, there’s more.
- There’s not much different each time you do a dungeon. I think every dungeon should have some randomizers, maybe having different routes, enemies, or a slight variation in difficulty. Having varying dungeons would also add to the challenge.
Wouldn’t this take a long time?
You’re probably thinking, this is very complicated. Well, why not get some help with building? Ask some expert build teams, but, keep it similar to the style of yeeps. I think this should be a two-part update, with the first part bringing the overall rework, and the second part adding new content. The first part would bring new blocks and such, yes. One could be a hidden terrain door that only is opened if it has an active input. Also why not incorporate a bit of horror monsters? Seems like a funny idea. Other ideas could include a two-room mesa dungeon, 1.5 rooms would be randomized dungeon content, with the last half of room 2 being a boss fight with a fire breathing dragon.
Conclusion: Adventure just needs an expansion and rework, as listed in my ideas above. Also yes, other new content, though I’ll leave this thread open for other suggestions on this idea.
