Tower Defense Mode (another repost)

#

Button coins for winning won't happen but other than that, it could be fun

#

Maybe silver beans for winning with no cap would be better.

#

Please devs notice me

#

You can already make this. Use the spawners to spawn bugs, then use the mob barriers to guide where the bugs should go, and use the mob beacon as a base to defend

#

Use turrets as towers as well

#

Unless there's some issues

cloud oak
#

Anyways, I CAST REVIVE! Rise

#

I’m not that bad of a creator, right…?

glacial rapids
#

Survival Gamemode! Mind blowing, right?

Anyways, you can do this mob barriers and spawners.

#

This is no for me since we basically have this already

glacial rapids
cloud oak
#

We barely have any mob variations in this game

#

We have

#

A bug

#

A bug that explodes

#

A big bug

#

A slug

#

A wasp

glacial rapids
#

I know all the mobs we have

#

No need to name them…

cloud oak
#

Dude you’re suggesting something that wouldn’t work as well as you think

#

I don’t think I can fit a boss on a track unless I make it 10x bigger than the map

#

Plus then there’s stunning

glacial rapids
#

The basic gist of this post is spawner, towers, main base, and enemies. Am I right?

cloud oak
#

Speed

#

There you go

#

Thing is with what we have now making a tower defense mode is gonna be insanely hard

cloud oak
#

Also with how little experience I have with wiring I can’t do anything

glacial rapids
#

spawners: Mob Spawners

Towers: Turrets

Main Base: The thing that mobs target

Enemies: Mobs themselves.

🤯 Mind Blowing!

cloud oak
#

Mobs dont stun turrets

#

I have to make a wave mechanic

#

I have to figure out how the bosses would work

glacial rapids
#

People who know how to wire can do it, just ask them.

#

I know how to do it.

cloud oak
#

Plus with walls

#

That’s just not gonna work

glacial rapids
#

I know tons of people who can do it

cloud oak
#

Then the turrets don’t shoot

#

Mobs just walk through and it becomes a basic wave defense with a fancy map

glacial rapids
#

Or you could just learn how to do it yourself 🤯

cloud oak
#

We only have one boss in the game right now

#

I could try to make something

#

But I guarantee you tower defense isn’t possible

#

Like a proper tower defense

#

Not the tds Area 51 event

glacial rapids
#

I think my point is clear. I’m leaving this post seeing as we literally do not need any of this since we basically have it already.

cloud oak
#

We really don’t

#

Mobs don’t follow paths they follow players

#

Walls stop turrets from shooting

#

The turrets just get destroyed

#

The giant bugs are bullet proof

#

The only boss in the game is probably too big to fit on a track

#

I don’t have half the needed items to make this

#

I just made this because I thought it would be cool to have a tower defense mode for this game

#

Because all we have is prop hunt, tag, and PvP

#

If I wanted to make this as simple as possible we’d still need more blocks like a spawn gate, a base that the mobs attack, a track block, and a sign that stops mobs from attacking players

cloud oak
#

@stoic storm Why…

stoic storm
#

What

#

Cause bro we got survival mode

cloud oak
#

Bruh

stoic storm
#

That’s basically 3D tower defense

#

Plus custome gamemode is out

cloud oak
#

Tower defense and wave defense are different

stoic storm
#

I think

cloud oak
stoic storm
cloud oak
#

I mean it would work decently if you really tried

#

But it would be really clunky

#

Take too much work and effort

#

And then end up looking like crap

stoic storm
#

Bro just build

cloud oak
stoic storm
cloud oak
stoic storm
#

The monster barriers

cloud oak
#

Can’t they still break the turrets?

stoic storm
#

Ok so

cloud oak
#

Double barrier?

stoic storm
#

Yeah double barrier

cloud oak
#

That’s just one of the problems I already talked about

#

It’s nearly impossible to make a proper tower defense game that isn’t a giant mess

#

Like it’ll work but it’ll look like garbage

#

And then stacking two barriers on each other to solve a problem just makes the track too large

stoic storm
#

So what? My maps look like dookie but when people play it they end up playing Untill their headset died

cloud oak
#

Because you’d have to put two on each side making the track 5 blocks wide

#

Which would take up way more space than just adding a proper track block

#

I get that everything is possible but it would be easier if it was just condensed into a single block

stoic storm
#

Ok

#

I just don’t think we need this

cloud oak
#

It would still be fun

#

And plus it’s just a suggestion

stoic storm
#

Yeah I know

#

Am just disagreeing with it

cloud oak
#

Doesn’t mean you gotta try with 100% of your brain power to put the suggestion down
