its likely that if people have the ability to prove their status as content creator, therell be at least some bad eggs going "check out my chanel! check out my chanell!"

idk. like i understand the appeal of it. people make content of the game and want it to be known. but as a person who makes content on the side as a hobby/passtime it just feels a little bit dehumanizing
i want to be seen as a person playing the game. not a product

look im just. kinda sick of it. there's a content creator this content creator that in servers and games alike all across the board and it just really rubs me the wrong way. for me being able to talk to others without the knowledge that theyre running a 10,000+ subscriber youtube channel just makes things feel more genuine to me, i guess? like im talking to people and not niche microcelebrities or anything like that
course im probably overreacting to an extent, but in a game where essentially everybody has the same opportunity to create something outstanding, putting people on a podium just because they create to an unrelated extent just feels kinda unnecessary
