I’ve been wanting this item for so long (almost ever since I started) and I thought it would fit with the larger maps

Max range ~25 blocks

Edit: When I said functions like the portal games I mean almost EXACTLY like the portal games. Even including the portalable surfaces. (Portalable surfaces gamerule sign) also if you go ~10 blocks away from a portal it stops doing the mirror thing

Yeah we have ender pearls but idk cuz I think this would be too op maybe add a duration of how long the portals last and maybe a over heating system if you use it too much just to balance it out

Not really as cool bc of the fact that it can only be used on certain surfaces which depending on what surfaces those are makes the portal gun a 1200 waste of buttcoins

Well uhh it needs balancing and in order to make good puzzles and stuff you need both portable stuff and not portable.

The thing about portals vs portal balls is that portals themselves allow for many more building possibilities and puzzles

Also I agree there ways to balance this, there's a lot of variables that fit within a "portal gun"

the thing is that this would lag the game like crazy, this isnt possible for quest 2 especially, it would have to create like 1 copy of the map. and if theres like 10 people in one lobby with portals placed down each, it would 100% crash the game

so like this isnt even possible without HUGE downsides

Something I’ve noticed is everyone has been less harsh in balancing to the way more laggy or less balanced posts compared to mine
