The WebView block loads a webpage in a popup. The standard one is triggered by a tap. The broadcaster uses wiring. The page doesn't despawn until X, 🔳, or - is pressed. X closes the WebView. 🔳 opens the WebView in the headset browser. Would be a good idea to use intents for porting to other Android headsets or those who side load other browsers. - saves the view in the Inventory for later viewing. This view would be sandboxed from the game itself so crash URIs like chrome://inducebrowsercrashforrealz or JS couldn't crash the game

So many things could go wrong with this
Yeah they could basicly hack If trass games release this block
I said it would be sandboxed
That means the game and site only communicate to display the page
No scripts
So, why would it be useful then?
only point would be a discord display site
The scripts and stuff don't execute in Yeeps. Yeeps just displays the page and sends inputs
What about inappropriate websites?
So instead of {Yeeps (hosts WebView)}
It's {Yeeps input} -> {WebView}
{WebView} -> {Yeeps display}
Horizon OS has parental controls. Just use the web browser from Quest for the WebView.
uh, what if someone goes to 🟧⬛ ? this is a veeery bad idea.
parental controls does not equal universal website blocklist. a better idea would be for only a select few websites allowed (yt, scratch, yeeps.com, and a few others)
We don't need external website links in yeeps.
