Well I think it best bet is just going through each alley 1 by 1, and checking if it needs a refresh, then do it, and move on to the next, that should work right? Cause ur issue is multippe at once and hitting the cannon limit if ur remember correctly

I was thinking of making toggles to store the data that the lane needs to be reset, then those toggles go into a d latch space around 3 blocks apart then have a loop that will active the d latch then it goes through and does the thing

I have a question how would you make it so like in five nights at Freddy's the door can run out of battery and it'll stay open but if you open the door it will stop the battery from draining but if you have it closed then it will not drain the battery I need it for a map

I would probably just make a counter, whenever the door is closed a loop starts up and it slowly counts, whenever it is open the loop is cut off by like an and gate

Bitwise logic just means logic gates but with binary numbers, so I could apply an and gate between 0001 and 0101 to get 0001

Buuuuut some take only 1

Before it would have been everything taking minimum 2 but now we can have some fast some slow

Also in the time I’m not on vr I’m making an emulator for it, a new one, it’ll be up to date and it’ll be able to run hundreds of times faster, like up to 100k+ instructions per second, maybe even a million

Okay so a game tick is the time it takes for 1 length of wire, which is roughly 1/20 second, a short delay is 2 ticks (1/10 second) medium delay is 20 ticks (1 second) large delay is 200 ticks (10 seconds)

So basically short delay is double the wire and 1/10 second then each delay after that is 10x the previous

Speed : basically none because yeeps couldn’t handle it. Operation : adding and subtracting binary values then decoding them to compute and output.

Yeah 64 bytes to store it all,correct, but you don’t necessarily need to store it in like actual ram, you can just store it in a shift register, which is much more compact, then shift it out the top while you build it

The idea is it runs through a lot of basic instructions like add a + b, make a = b, store b in memory, etc. The real magic is what are called “jump instructions”. Basically, if a certain condition is met, the computer will skip forwards or backwards to a certain line of code. This lets you create loops and functions and if statements.

That’s sick but not technically a computer the same way mine is. Mine is like real computers and uses binary and logic gates to run programs but cause of block count is super limited. I can’t ever write out a message with it or use apps, mainly just does basics math lol

There is not such thing as ram or pc parts
Its only logical gate the complex contraption behind the display is what we call the gpu but its merged inside
And my pc works the same but its more complex advanced and put behind a screen
So its basically a laptop but the version i made in the wiring lab and the original saved version 1 week after the wiring update

I get that and I think it’s really cool but what I’m saying is my cpu works the exact same as real life computers just at a very small scale. As in it uses binary, runs binary assembly code, and uses the same components like RAM, ROM, and an ALU

@wary raptor Since you're the expert.. Is this a good RAM system? To use a 'block' you must signal the enabler (white reciever) and then the RAM 'block' (Neon Red, Orange, Yellow, Green), which will then send the signal into one last set of broadcasters to be able to use the RAM. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green.) There are 4 'blocks' of RAM, so basically half a byte.

Yeah that works fine, although if I were you I’d condense the wiring instead of having it all scattered like that. Also, this is good if all you need is 1 byte, but if you need more you should hookup a decoder that way you can select which address you want to enable.

So instead of connecting the white transmitter directly to the d latch, connect it to one input of an and gate, then connect the other input to a decoder. That way the signal only goes through if you have it selected
