More Support with Trading

I know I’m like the 10,000th person to reiterate this point, but I feel like nothing has been done for it no matter how much people have asked:

I feel like there should be more support for the trading community; what was once a thriving community, especially around the Empty era, is now a wasteland of people just begging for gatekept blocks.

The only thing that has contributed to the trading community for the past couple of months was the Max incident, and although it feels wrong to admit, that was like the 2nd major peak of trading with the amount of blocks/ rare colored blocks that came out of it.

Here’s some things that could possibly work:

1. Choose a secret trading manager for the community that randomly spreads blocks (Devon, Loaf, maybe even a trust community member idk)
2. Create competitions and events for rare blocks. These don’t have to be server-announced events, but rather just a scavenger hunt if anything, or maybe even hide and seek stuff.
3. Give that one silly guy “Empty” a call

Tbh this is real, most people just want the blocks Maxfiftynine has. I feel like if Max didn’t gatekeep rare blocks or add them, the community trading would be more active (not trying to say it’s Max’s fault, there are plenty of other reasons)

it was on the dev’s agenda for a while before they actually did it, but I assume it was so that colors wouldn’t be defined as invalid and stuff would actually function properly, but the ticking point was the ALLCOLORS incident
