You should instead use binary adders, subtractors and multipliers, it only requires a few logic gates and is tile-able.
This would also allow you to do 1+1, 2+2 or 3+3

In yeeps you could use on/off signals to represent bits and google circuit diagrams for adders and subtarctors.

Use binary, it’s a lot smaller, infinitely expandable, easy to add in subtraction, and you can add x+x
