(assuming u use photopea)
1.use the square tool
2.go to the top of the ui
3.press the fill box and change it to “none” (square with the red line over it)
4.set outline / stroke to whatever color you want
5.look to the right of the ui and you should see something like corner radius/smooth or something idk :/
6.set it to 50px or anything you want, just make sure you like it :))
7. size the square to fit the area

Being honest i have no clue what this video is going to be, a thumbnail is like the packaging for your video, the viewer needs to know what the video is about in less than a second, you should try to make the thumbnail more saturated and brighter so it pops out more, and instead of many photos you can try to have 1 photo as the background
