Here me out. What if chickens had slow falling meaning when they jump they glide a bit. Cats would only get stunned if they are shot or exploded. Dogs move faster when playing ball or Frisbee.

they can only be stunned by gadgets and stuff

so it's kinda counterintuitive if you want cats to be hurt to suggest cats be protected from the most common way for cats to get hurt

I mean it is a stretch to assume they don't like cats

but I misread that I little

I read it as they are immovable, but still get stunned when hurt

not that they can just walk off massive falls

but I shoot my, and other, cats often so with me around I wouldn't say MOST common

but chickens and dogs get powerful abilities, and chickens basically just get a better version of what cats get

and cats just don't take fall damage

cats are getting the short end of the stick here

this idea takes away the random part of yours, and instead, makes it so that all dogs or all cats have different abilities
