The Pacifier is a free gadget that the player gets when they start the game, when pulled out, you can pop it into a players mouth [and yourself] to basically quitmute them, their avatar will now have a pacifier shown on their mouth and they will be muted until you catch up to them and grab the pacifier.

think of the "talk to the hand" feature from recroom
also it would be hilarious to see a muted player walking around with a pacifier on their mouth, wouldnt it?
