Go around the whole map and do block optimisation, you'll be surprised at how many blocks you'll gain back. At parts there might be lots of 1x1 blocks they could be replaced by 4x1s or 2x2 2x1 and so on.

I mean yeah it’ll still be fun because it’s a whole new game mode and all that, and I don’t care if someone takes inspiration from another map, I think it’s obviously smart to take inspiration from a winning map, but you can’t act like you didn’t copy:

• the flying meteors with neon orange pipes wrapping around
• colour scheme
• similar layout but instead of one building in the middle, it’s two buildings, one on each side
• the barrels from the wiring update used for those jet engine things or whatever you want to call it

About the barrels for the jets, they uses barrels as the jets structure and we used it as the actual jets that power the ship, they used fans to show what make the ship go forwards so we didn't take inspo from that but with the colour scheme the floor doesn't look any good with other colours, it looks good with cream and orange

It's funny though the screenshots definitely reminds the viewer of Interstellar but when you explore the map it's a totally different experience. I wish them the best of luck with it and am looking forward to playing the map when it's fully finished.

@bitter mantle a cool interactive thing you could make is make the ship shoot a cannon or explosive icicle upon pressing a button in the cockpit or something in the ship. where the cannonball or icicle ends up, build a button that gets triggered. the button lights up screens around it to make it look like an explosion. Colour the button block gray to blend in with the stone blocks (the meteor). Make sort of a half sphere with screen blocks connecting with the wall. the inside is hollow so you can wire up all the screens to the button. paint the outer screens red, middle orange, center yellow.

when you shoot a cannon or a neon/explosive icicle, it’ll trigger the button and light up all the screens to look like an explosion (as if you shoot at a threatening meteor coming at the ship)

I made it once but the map I made it in is now gone from the community world because I guess someone cleared it to make room for something else

I can make one again once I get home

Interstellar was far more complex as we both know all to well with the amount of time we put into the map. This why I'm saying it's not a copy. It's an honour to have builders take influences from Interstellar, I've visited many maps that the builders were proud to show me their influences from the build.

I recomend playing this map for yourself. It's fun and very different from Interstellar when you are actually in the map. If they add all the playability aspects to the map, I think they have a good chance.

Yes, players don't own a style of building but, when people mash someone else's style all in one it starts to look bad. For example: Imterstellar has meteors with neon orange lines. This map also has that. There is a big ship in the middle of interstellar and there is one in this map. Both terrain are basically the same. The building look the same. This is heavily inspired if not copied.
